DAY 1 MARRAKECH

Upon your arrival at Menara airport, you will be welcomed by your guide. He will be pleased to transfer you to your place of stay where you can enjoy the rest of the night. Dinner will be served according to the timetable of your arrival.

DAY 2 MARRAKECH - TANANT-OUZOUD -AZILALCOL D'OUGHBAR - AIT-BOUGUMEZ - AZIB N'IKKIS (2h Walk)

After an early breakfast, you’ll head towards the valley of Ait Bougumez, through the city of Azilal. Following your lunch break, you’ll continue to the neck of Oughbar (2200m), a panoramic view of the High Atlas Mountains. And then, you’ll descend to the valley of Ait Abbas, before joining the village of agouti, which is the first village of the happy valley. After loading your luggage you’ll hike up the Arous River. Eventually you’ll spend the rest of the night in Azib n'Ikkis.

DAY 3 AZIB N’IKKIS 2250m - TARKEDIT PASS 3400m - TARKEDIT 2900m

After breakfast, you’ll rise smoothly to the 3400m Tarkedit pass following the comfortable mule tracks. You will make some stops to contemplate Mgoun chain and its peak which is 4068 meters above sea level. And then you’ll cut a short descent to the Tarkedit plateau which is frequented by nomads. Eventually, you’ll spend the rest of the night in a tented camp.

DAY 4 TRAY TILIBIT N'TARKEDDIT - M'GOUN SUMMIT 4068m

After an early breakfast, you’ll continue your way where there is the possibility of finding fossils and other stones. You’ll follow the ridge to the famous summit, where you will enjoy a magnificent view of the peaks and southern valleys such as: the Valley of Roses and Dades. Afterwards, you may en enjoy a picnic lunch at the summit, and then return to the same camp of the previous day.

DAY 5 PLATEAU TARKEDDIT - ADREM PASS 3250m - TASGAIWALT - AMEZRI - IMIN IKKIS

You’ll find yourself on the table of Tarkeddit sources, where you’ll settle temporarily to admire the Imghrane in transhumant coming from Tassawt Valley, and the Oasis. They usually seek pasture for their flocks of sheep, goats, mules and even camels, which are well sheltered by the cliffs and caves for 6 months on the plateau from May to late October. After an 1 hour climb from the caves you’ll finally reach the Tassawt Valley, one of the major valleys of the High Atlas, you’ll go down through the pass of Sdrem 3200, to enter the forest which will lead you to the first village of the high Tassaoute (Tasgaiwalt). Following your lunch break, you’ll continue to the large village of Amezri, then to the fold of Imin Ikkis 2100m. Eventually, you’ll spend the rest of the night in your tents

DAY 6 IMIN IKKIS 2100m - ICHEBBAKEN - HAMZA AIT - AIT ALI N 'ITTO – MEGDAZ

After breakfast, you’ll continue throught Assif n'Tassawt to cross the village of Ichbbaken with attics and cliff, and then to Ait Hamza, and finally you’ll arrive to Ait Ali n'Itto 1800m. Afterwards, you’ll change the direction back to the small Megdaz valley for a quick tour. At the end of the day, you’ll spend the night in your tents.

DAY 7 MEGDAZ - FAKHOUR - DEMNAT – MARRAKECH

After breakfast, you’ll head towards Ait Ali n'Itto village. And then, you’ll continue to Ait Alla Fahkour village. Following your lunch break, you’ll be transferred back to Marrakech. During the road, you’ll be crossing the natural bridge of Imi n'Ifri. After your arrival, you’ll be taken to your place of stay for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 8 MARRAKECH

After breakfast, according to your flight departure schedule, you’ll slightly prepare your luggage full of joyful memories and head to the airport.
