Authentic Culinary Trip in Morocco

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

Welcome to Morocco! Its atmosphere will make you scent the aromatic Tajines, min tea, and Moroccan delicious pastries. You’ll be loaded with limitless generosity, and hospitality, fascinated with its vibrant culture and traditions. You will be met and warmly welcomed on your arrival at Marrakech’s airport by your private drive and your licensed tour guide whom will assure your transfer to your place of stay for dinner and accommodation.

DAY 2 GUIDED CITY TOUR IN THE SOUTHERN PEARL

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll start your private tour of Marrakech with your guide by driving to the Menara Gardens that date back from the 12th century, to enjoy the breathtaking views over the peaks of the High Atlas Mountains and the olive trees surrounding the lake. Then, you’ll head to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech with a stunning 70 meters high minaret. Afterwards, you’ll visit: the Saadian Tomb which date back to the time of the sultan Ahmad al-Mansour. Subsequently, you’ll have a walking tour in the old Medina to discover the colorful and exotic Moroccan handicraft; you’ll even enter further into the labyrinthine souks and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and aromas of this medieval market. After enjoying a delicious lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant at the medina, you’ll stroll in the world-famous Djemaa El Fna square, Marrakech’s most popular attraction, where you’ll find snake charmers, dancers, acrobats and storytellers. You’ll end your city cultural guided tour in Marrakech at the magical botanical garden Majorelle, designed by the expatriate French artist Jacques Majorelle during the colonial period by the French. It also houses an exotic Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, whose collection includes North African textiles from Saint-Laurent's personal collection as well as jewelry, ceramics, and paintings by Majorelle.

DAY 3 COOKING CLASS IN MARRAKESH - SPA AND TRADITIONAL HAMMAM

The Moroccan cuisine is well known throughout the world, that’s the reason why you’ll spend an entire day learning how to master the traditional way of preparing some special famous dishes: such as Couscous and Tajines. You’ll enjoy a knowledgeable experience with a wide range of available options including: Moroccan spiced cooked and uncooked salads, authentic Moroccan Couscous, and Tajine with chicken, limb or with beef. You’ll end your cooking day trip in Marrakech at Jemaa El Fna square; where you’ll take a walk to enjoy its exotic atmosphere. Afterwards, the rest of the day can be spent at leisure; you may even treat yourself with a Spa or a traditional Hammam at your accommodation in Marrakech.

DAY 4 HIGH ATLAS ADVENTURE DAY-PRICELESS EXPERIENCE IN HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS

After breakfast, you’ll begin your day trip to the High Atlas Mountains with an exciting drive south from Marrakech to one of Morocco’s most beautiful places “the Ourika Valley”; teaming with steep-sided gorges, lush vegetation and Berber hamlets. And then, you’ll continue to the Jbel Oukaïmeden range where the snow falls every winter through hills. Afterwards, you will turn down to the Berber village of Tahanaout, up and over the hairpin bends of the Moulay Brahim’s Gorges, and then you’ll continue through the Berber village of Asni to the Imlil. In this place, you may enjoy a delicious traditional lunch on the terrace of a trusted handpicked local restaurant. Subsequently, you will set off on a easy guided walk to the Berber village of Aremd, where you’ll rest for a while in this gorgeous village built upon a big moraine spur, share tea, and meet locals, overlooking ancient irrigated terraced fields surrounded by almond and walnut trees. And finally, you’ll return to Imlil and drive to your Berber Auberge in High Atlas Mountains.

DAY 5 HIGH ATLAS TO MARRAKECH

After breakfast, head back to Marrakech to visit the 19th century Bahia Palace that is surrounded by beautifully-manicured Moorish gardens filled with fruit trees and sweet-smelling flowers. And then, you’ll visit one of Marrakech´s most beautiful buildings from the 14th century, the Ben Youssef Medersa. It is the largest Coranic University in the Maghreb, influenced by the stunning Moorish combination of, mosaic, stucco, marble and cedar wood. & then lunch before enjoying some free time to further explore Marrakech.

DAY 6 MARRAKESH TO MENARA AIRPORT

After breakfast, departure transfer to Marrakesh Menara airport for your return flight back home.
